Ivideon Server

Put together the Ivideon Server, the Ivideon Client, and the Ivideon website and what do you get? The simple answer is this: you get an efficient cloud-based video surveillance system that works like this: install the server; add your webcams and IP cameras to the server; use the client or the website to see footage from the aforementioned cameras Ivideon.

The Ivideon server is available for multiple platforms: Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.
The Ivideon client is available for multiple platforms as well: Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, iOS, Android.
The Ivideon website can be accessed from any internet-connected computer, using any browser.

A setup wizard will help you install Ivideon on a computer powered by Microsoft’s Windows operating system.
A wizard will then guide you through the initial setup: create a new account or sign into an existing account; start Ivideon Server at logon; start broadcasting at program startup, log into your account to view your cameras; set up webcams and IP cameras.

Ivideon Server’s interface is similar to the interface offered by many instant messaging (IM) applications: the main panel displays a list of all your webcams and IP cameras; at the top there are buttons to start/stop the server, access the settings menu and setup wizard, access your Ivideon account, and exit the application.

Here is a usage scenario. Say you have a PC at home and a webcam connected to that PC. Get Ivideon Server, install it on your PC, and then let the setup wizard help you add your webcam to the server. Then get the Ivideon Client and install it on your Android smartphone. You can now use your Android to see what’s going on at home. Handy, right?

Ivideon is great for home use, office use, and shop use. Cameras can transmit from your home, office, or shop. You can view the footage from the desktop client, mobile client, or within your web browser.
